About TAI:
TAI brings together engineering, construction, systems integration, on-site services, and technical services - combining proven execution with trusted expertise to support clients across the entire project lifecycle. Team members at TAI are capable, well-rounded, flexible, and optimistic. We have found that the best employees are the ones who recognize the importance of what they do and the ones who let that guide them in the actions they take. More than any skill, we seek people who make decisions that support the common good. We work for our clients, and we work for one another.
Here's a glimpse into your day to day:
  • Manage multiple capital, facilities, utility, and manufacturing support projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop project scopes, technical requirements, engineering evaluations, and recommended solutions.
  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses.
  • Coordinate engineering, design, and technical activities performed by internal teams and external service providers.
  • Lead contractor bid evaluations, contractor selection processes, procurement support, and installation activities.
  • Provide field oversight during construction, equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Provide technical expertise related to facility systems, utilities, manufacturing equipment, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Support equipment lifecycle management, including replacement planning and disposition of obsolete assets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards throughout project execution.
  • Lead reliability and process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost savings, equipment uptime, and sustainability.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for facility and manufacturing system issues.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, presentations, and executive-level updates.

You'll be a perfect fit if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, utility, energy, chemical, or process environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.

  • Experience working with contractors, vendors, engineering firms, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
