Responsibilities

Summary:
The Program Fidelity Manager will be responsible for the fidelity and quality assurance of the specified GEO operated programs. Fidelity monitoring and quality assurance of programs could include Core Correctional Practices, specific group curriculum such as SAFE, , Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Substance Abuse, Victims Impact, skill sets such as MI, Group Facilitation, and Virtual Group Facilitation, Assessment delivery using assessments such as Trauma, and Criminal Thinking Scales, GEOtrack usage and behavior management systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Program Fidelity Manager trains and coaches Program Managers and supervisors on group observations, coaching, quality assurance processes (QATC) procedures, and completing all necessary forms for fidelity purposes.
  • Responsible for training, implementing, and coaching program staff on behavior management systems.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager provides observation and coaching on interactions between staff and participants both during in-person and virtual or recorded client interactions.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager plans and facilitates various training events for GEO staff including orientation, onboarding, and annual training.
  • Assists with the evaluation of training materials in response to manager requests, audit reviews, contract changes to ensure that training materials are aligned with Evidence Based Practices and support contractual obligations. Develop annual training plans as well as onboarding training plans for new staff.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager assists with developing quality assurance assessment tools used to measure program fidelity at various programs.
  • Assists with reviewing and developing evidence-based practice policies and procedures needed to align programming with evidence-based practices.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager assists with creating fidelity surveys to measure ongoing program sustainability.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager creates and facilitates participant surveys ensuring measurement feedback is provided to participants and GEO staff.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager attends customer meetings along with the PM and APM and provides contractually required data, reports, and other communications to the Tennessee Department of Correction.
  • The Program Fidelity Manager collects and analyzes program statistics and data to report to the customer and makes recommendations for data driven improvements to the program when applicable.
  • Works in partnership with Continuum of Care research department to develop intermediate outcomes and monitor trends for program effectiveness.
  • May be assigned special projects as needed to support new Company initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Services, Psychology, Human Services or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and all aspects of correctional programming including cognitive behavioral treatment, substance abuse treatment, academic education, vocational training, motivational interviewing and case management.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of evidence-based program evaluations, behavior management systems and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to observe and coach group facilitators for fidelity purposes.
  • One (1) year of previous training experience including course development and project management.
  • Two (2) years of evidence-based program experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of Company products, software, and hardware.
  • Excellent public speaking and facilitation skills.
