Deeply Digital, LLC is a communications, construction, and consulting company in Montrose, Colorado serving the entire western slope. Its sister company, Clearnetworx, provides ISP services to the surrounding region. Our entire team represents the company on the front lines, and all members work as a team to fulfill the needs of our customers. The Excavation Support person is a laborer who performs a variety of manual tasks outdoors in all weather conditions; including digging, laying conduit, helping with machinery, etc. This is all done while working in a safe and effective manner.
Deeply Digital's outside plant focuses primarily on placing underground and aerial fiber for telecommunications. Its services include line, coaxial, and optical fiber cable placement, splicing, and home installation.

Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the organization's success by performing assigned duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The Fiber Scheduler position involves collaborating with team members, adhering to company policies, and striving to achieve both individual and collective goals. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Fiber Installation Technician in Mountain Village with hands-on experience or the willingness to learn fiber optic installation/telecom installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and network deployment in both residential and commercial environments. basic knowledge in all phases of fiber/telecom infrastructure, from new construction to customer activation and maintenance. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards. Experience preferred, Willing to train right candidate.
The position will report to the Install Manager.
Core Responsibilities & Skills:
  • Perform utility line locating to ensure safe excavation and installation.
  • Complete fiber optic splicing for mainline, FIS, and demarcation point connections.
  • Conduct fiber testing using OTDR equipment to verify signal integrity and identify faults.
  • Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling and fiber optic systems.
  • Manage Carrier Neutral Locations (CNL's) and Network Operating Centers (NOC's) and maintained accurate service documentation.
  • Install and place fiber optic cable for new construction projects.
  • Install and configure residential and commercial network systems.
  • Provide over-the-phone technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, signal loss, and service-related issues efficiently.
  • On call rotation.
