What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Build and execute category strategies that improve safety, quality, output, cost, risk mitigation, and long-term supply continuity.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with semiconductor equipment and service suppliers, including pricing, terms, capacity, lead times, and service-level expectations.
  • Translate technical and operational requirements into clear sourcing plans, supplier engagement strategies, and actionable business recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing concise updates, clear tradeoffs, and timely escalation when business risks emerge.
  • Model high standards of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and professionalism while helping shape a positive team culture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility across technical, operational, commercial, and leadership audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to use logic, data analysis, and project management discipline to solve complex business problems.
  • Proven track record of execution, ownership, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, align stakeholders, and drive decisions in a changing business environment.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Curiosity and comfort working in a technically complex semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Sound judgment, urgency, and the ability to communicate risks and recommendations clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in fab equipment maintenance, semiconductor capital equipment sourcing, supplier management, or buying/selling front-end equipment and services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Experience with semiconductor front-end tools and major OEM equipment suppliers.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, or supporting manufacturing operations in a high-reliability environment.
