Revenue Operations & Sales Manager, Event Sales

Rodizio Grill

Sandy, UT • On-site

Full-time

Job description

The opportunity
Rodizio Grill is hiring an owner of corporate event sales at HQ, and we're building the role as a player/coach with revenue-operations skills.
Event sales have been growing 20 percent YOY. Inbound and repeat event sales business carry almost all that growth, and many strong managers run their locations well. What the business needs is a full-time owner to capture what those managers do best, turn it into shared documentation, process, and reporting, and run all locations to the same standard.
The opportunity is to take a proven inbound motion, build the SOPs, dashboards, and standards underneath it, stand up an outbound motion that barely exists today, and own the whole process end to end, from first inquiry to booked-and-executed event. You also get offshore help to execute and a CEO who wants event sales to quickly grow.
The role
Own and scale corporate event sales across Rodizio Grill's locations. Build the operating system (the tech stack, the SOPs, the reporting, and the standards) so the business grows without booking or quality errors, stand up a resourced outbound motion alongside the strong inbound one, and hold the team to a clear, measured standard. This is a player-coach role: you lead and build the function and you personally run one location's event book, but your primary mandate is building and leadership, not a full seller's load.
What you will own
  • The operating system (SOPs and process). Design and document the full inquiry-to-booked-and-executed workflow as repeatable SOPs for both inbound and outbound. Standardize templates, cadences, stage definitions, and pipeline hygiene across every location so the process stops living in two people's heads and the forecast becomes trustworthy.
  • The tech stack (systems owner and builder). Own and administer the go-to-market stack end to end: CRM (technology still TBD), Tripleseat (system of record for event sales), Apollo.io, a unified call/text tool, and AI solutions. Configure pipelines, lead routing, custom properties, workflow automations, and the integrations between them.
  • Inbound: speed-to-lead. Build the routing and response standard so no inbound inquiry goes cold or leaks between locations.
  • Outbound: build it in-house. Stand up cold outbound from scratch on dedicated sending domains: manage deliverability (monitoring bounce and spam rates), define the ideal customer profile, and build multi-touch sequences by occasion.
  • Measurement and accountability. Build the dashboards and scorecards that make performance visible: speed-to-lead, inquiry-to-booked conversion, revenue by event type, and pipeline health.
  • Team leadership and training. Lead the roughly ten local event-sales managers plus the 1-2 offshore employees.

Requirements
Required
  • 4-plus years in revenue operations, sales operations, or a high-velocity sales role
  • A track record of building SOPs and playbooks from scratch and working in depth with a CRM at the admin level
  • Fluent with data, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Comfortable directing outsourced or offshore execution.
  • Comfortable being a genuine player-coach

Preferred
  • Cold-email and outbound deliverability know-how (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, domain warmup, and sequencing tools such as Apollo, Instantly, or Smartlead)
  • Experience with sales-engagement and dialer tools; no-code automation (Zapier or similar)
  • 2-plus years leading or coaching a team.
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to haves
  • Hospitality, events, catering, or multi-unit restaurant experience
  • Tripleseat familiarity
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus given the team's language mix.

Compensation
This role includes a $65,000 to $80,000 annual base salary plus a performance-based annual incentive:
  • Base salary: $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience
  • Target incentive: $40,000 at 100% achievement
  • Target total cash compensation: $105,000 to $120,000
  • Stretch compensation: Incentive payouts may reach up to 200% of the target incentive, resulting in maximum total annual cash compensation of $145,000 to $160,000

The incentive will be based on defined event-sales results and operational performance objectives associated with building and improving the event-sales function.
Benefits
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)

Free Food & Snacks
  • Wellness Resources
