Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join Amteck in Lawrenceburg, KY. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various electrical construction equipment at job sites. This is a full-time position with tons of room for advancement. A willingness to travel is desired but not mandatory, previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain electrical construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and augers.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and safe operations on the job site.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
  • Assist with general labor duties as needed, including material handling and site cleanup.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members to report progress, issues, and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of electrical construction practices and procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
