Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Mitigation Crew Chief for a company located in Bolingbrook, IL.

Mitigation Crew Chief – Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay- $30.00-$35.00/ hr (DOE)
  • Eligible for Bonus

As a Mitigation Crew Chief, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for responding to emergencies and restoring properties damaged by various causes. Your role involves assessing damage, determining the required restoration services, and executing cleanup and drying activities. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work in challenging environments, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

 

Mitigation Crew Chief Responsibilities:

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of customers
  • Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity, and specific humidity.
  • Ability to handle water mitigation, sewage losses, demolition, crime scene cleanup, fire remediation
  • Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and cabinets
  • Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required
  • Working with bio-hazard
  • Clean and maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Maintain a clean assigned vehicle
  • Ensure customer is satisfied and happy with the work performed
  • Eligible for development and growth within the company

Mitigation Crew Chief Requirements:

  • 5-10 years in a Crew Chief Lead role
  • High School (or GED) Diploma
  • Required experience in water mitigation
  • Required certifications with IICRC, WRT/ASD and AMRT
  • Knowledge of software programs MICA and Mitigate
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Service-Oriented
