Job description

Full-Time | Remote | 3MC Media

3MC Media is looking for a Digital Media Specialist who understands how the pieces of digital marketing work together and knows how to turn strategy, data, content, and media into results.

We’re a full-service marketing agency working with clients across a variety of industries. Our work spans paid media, social media, content, websites, SEO/GEO, analytics, and integrated marketing campaigns.

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in paid digital media and social media management, plus the analytical skills to understand what the data is telling us and what to do next.

This is an ideal role for a digital marketer who enjoys both the execution and the thinking behind it: building campaigns, managing social channels, analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and continually optimizing based on what’s working.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibilities will span paid digital media, organic social media, analytics, and campaign optimization, including:

  • Build, manage, monitor, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
  • Manage organic social media programs, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and performance analysis
  • Develop audience, targeting, channel, and campaign recommendations based on client goals
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve results
  • Analyze paid media, social media, website, and other digital performance data to uncover trends and actionable insights
  • Translate data into clear, understandable recommendations for clients and internal teams
  • Prepare recurring performance reports that explain not just what happened, but why it matters and what we should do next
  • Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and market research to inform digital strategies
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, and clients to develop campaigns and content
  • Write or edit digital ad copy, headlines, calls to action, and social media content
  • Stay current on changes across advertising platforms, social media, search, AI, privacy, attribution, and the broader digital landscape
  • Manage multiple client accounts, campaigns, priorities, budgets, and deadlines

The Digital Chops We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who sees digital marketing as an ecosystem, not a collection of disconnected channels.

Ideally, you:

  • Have hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, particularly Google Ads and paid social
  • Understand both paid and organic social media strategy and execution
  • Are highly comfortable with data and enjoy digging into performance to understand what's really happening
  • Know how to move beyond surface-level metrics and connect performance to meaningful business outcomes
  • Understand metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, CPL/CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, engagement rate, reach, frequency, and website behavior
  • Can identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and potential problems within campaign data
  • Understand conversion tracking, attribution, UTMs, pixels/tags, and the importance of clean measurement
  • Have working knowledge of GA4 and digital advertising/social media reporting platforms
  • Understand how paid media, organic social, content, websites, SEO, and emerging GEO/AI search concepts work together to build brand visibility and generate demand
  • Are comfortable testing new audiences, messages, creative, channels, and tactics and using performance data to decide what happens next
  • Can explain digital marketing concepts and results in plain English to people who aren't digital marketers

Even Better If You Have Experience With...

These aren’t requirements, but they’ll definitely get our attention:

  • Google Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, or Display advertising
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Programmatic, CTV, streaming audio, Reddit, or other emerging advertising channels
  • Social media content strategy and editorial calendars
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Looker Studio or other reporting/dashboard tools
  • SEO and/or GEO/AI search optimization
  • Landing page strategy and conversion rate optimization
  • CRM and lead-tracking platforms
  • Email marketing
  • Writing social media posts and digital ad copy
  • Basic graphic design for social media and paid advertising
  • Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar creative tools
  • Basic short-form video editing
  • AI-assisted marketing, research, analytics, and content tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Approximately 3–7 years of professional digital marketing experience, ideally with an agency, in-house marketing team, or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing paid digital media campaigns
  • Experience managing organic social media channels and content
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Experience working with digital advertising and analytics platforms
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of the broader digital marketing ecosystem
  • Ability to manage budgets and pay close attention to pacing, performance, and details
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, asking questions, and collaborating with others
  • A self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
  • Naturally curious and motivated to keep learning as digital marketing continues to evolve

About 3MC Media

3MC Media is a full-service marketing agency built for organizations that are serious about growth. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, combining strategy, creative, digital marketing, paid media, content, analytics, and technology to help them strengthen their brands and generate measurable results.

We’re a small, collaborative team, which means everyone has an opportunity to contribute ideas, learn new things, and make a meaningful impact. We value people who are great at what they do but are also interested in understanding the work happening around them.

For this role in particular, we’re looking for someone who doesn't think of themselves simply as a “media buyer” or “social media manager.” We want someone interested in the bigger picture: how audiences discover brands, what influences them along the way, how different channels work together, and how we use data to continually improve our marketing.

To Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us about yourself and why this role interests you.

We'd especially like to hear about campaigns or accounts you’ve managed, including:

  • The digital advertising platforms you’ve worked in
  • The types and sizes of budgets you’ve managed
  • Your experience managing organic social media
  • How you’ve used analytics to identify an opportunity or solve a performance problem
  • An example of a campaign you helped improve and what you did to improve it

If you have examples of social media content, ad creative, dashboards, reporting, or light design work you've created, feel free to share those as well.

We're interested in more than the platforms you know. We want to understand how you think, what you notice, and what you do with the information in front of you.
