Compensation: $65-$80/hour

An organization is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician - Advanced Power Generation (APG) to support Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects and build critical infrastructure within the Power Providers Market Sector. This role focuses on creating high-quality engineering 2D/3D deliverables and electrical design drawings (including duct bank, cable tray, grounding, and lighting designs) using Bentley MicroStation, other Bentley tools, and AGI32 while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) staff to deliver accurate and high-quality project deliverables.


Job Duties:
  • Establishes, communicates, and enforces design and graphic standards, ensuring deliverables comply with BV Quality Assurance Procedures.

  • Performs technical tasks using digital design tools (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain complex 2D/3D electrical design deliverables, including duct banks, cable trays, grounding, and lighting calculations.

  • Functions in a lead/supervisory role by guiding engineering technicians, managing project budgets and schedules, and improving cross-discipline communication.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology required (Bachelor's Degree preferred) with coursework in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology.

  • Years of Experience: 15+ years.
