Position Summary:

Supports daily electrical project management, client interface, and provides direction to electrical engineers, designers, and production staff on the production of on time and quality controlled project specific electrical deliverables.

Basic Duties:

  • Will support daily electrical project management, client interface, and provide direction to electrical engineers, designers, and production staff on the production of on time and quality controlled project specific electrical deliverables.
  • Client interface.
  • Electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment application.
  • NEC compliance, building code compliance, feasibility studies, adherence to budgets and schedules, cost estimating, field survey, construction administration
  • Support of procurement and construction activities.
  • Position will work under the direction of senior engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10+ years progressive experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field, with a PE.
  • Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications.
  • Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as Inventor, and or Revit, and MS office.
  • Proficiency with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP
  • Previous experience with electrical power distribution, grounding, motor control, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems is preferred.
  • Some travel may be required from time to time, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites.
  • Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
  • Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial /mining power distribution and building systems, motor controls, control systems and grounding.
  • Previous heavy industrial or mining experience.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
