Job description

Description
About Solidus Labs
Solidus Labs sits at the intersection of every major shift happening in financial markets right now. We build market integrity and compliance technology for traditional finance, digital assets, and prediction markets, onchain and offchain, used by financial institutions and regulators across the globe. Our platform monitors over a trillion events a day, and we're now at the front of another wave: agentic AI is changing how compliance and surveillance work gets done, and we're building for that future today. We're a small team doing work that matters, and we move fast.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to build out and scale adoption of our industry-leading Trade Surveillance products. You bring a strong trading or trading-applications background and experience building and scaling enterprise platform products, along with the communication and leadership skills to work effectively across functional teams. This role is based in our New York City office.
What You'll Do
  • Own the client-facing roadmap for surveillance detection: new algo typologies, expanded asset-class and venue coverage, and the enrichment data that makes alerts land - turning Algorithm and Data team capability into features clients can buy.
  • Write the product requirements that take a new detection typology from concept to production - use cases, parameters, alert output, and what the analyst sees when it fires.
  • Drive alert quality as a product outcome: fewer false positives, clearer alert rationale, and enough explainability that a compliance officer can defend a fired alert to a regulator.
  • Close coverage gaps that show up in RFPs, security reviews, and live deals; translate the "can you detect X?" questions from Sales and prospects into prioritized algo and data work.
  • Partner with Professional Services and Customer Success on onboarding and tuning outcomes, converting recurring client requests into durable products instead of repeated services work.
  • Understand Solidus Labs' market surveillance algorithms deeply enough to explain them, and demo new detection features directly to clients and prospects.

Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience, with trading experience at a Wall Street firm or work with trading systems at a large financial institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field - Finance, Computer Science, or Data Science preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one asset class: crypto, fixed income, equities, derivatives, or FX.
  • Strong knowledge of trading/financial charting (Bloomberg, TradingView, ChartIQ, or custom tick-level price and volume charts).
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and within energetic, diverse, global teams.
  • Ability to handle complex operational tasks and recommend process and technology changes.
  • Proactive about personal and technical development.

Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of the FIX protocol.
  • Knowledge of standard financial compliance procedures and regulations (AML, KYC, trade surveillance, transaction monitoring).
  • Experience building and scaling enterprise platform products.

Benefits
The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, Solidus Labs offers equity, unlimited PTO and a generous total rewards program, including $0 monthly health insurance premiums for you and your family, a robust 401K match program, and perks like ClassPass, One Medical and Talkspace subscriptions.
