Position Summary
Leads the data analytics and reporting function for Customer Energy and Transportation Solutions. Manages a team responsible for delivering actionable insights, portfolio and regulatory reporting, analytical solutions, and data management practices that support business strategy, operational performance, and informed decision-making. Partners across the business and with technology and enterprise data teams to prioritize needs, strengthen data quality, and advance scalable analytics capabilities.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with business leaders, functional teams, technology organizations, and enterprise data groups to understand needs, prioritize investments, manage cross-functional initiatives, and increase adoption of data and analytics capabilities
  • Analytics Strategy and Insights: Establish and execute the business unit's analytics and data science roadmap in alignment with strategic and operational priorities. Oversee descriptive, predictive, and forward-looking analyses that identify trends, evaluate performance, and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • People and Portfolio Leadership: Lead, develop, and prioritize the work of analytics and data support professionals. Establish team goals, allocate resources, manage performance, build capabilities, and maintain a delivery roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Reporting and Performance Analytics: Lead the development and delivery of recurring, portfolio-level, regulatory, operational, and marketing performance reporting. Improve reporting accuracy, automation, visualization, and usability to meet stakeholder and regulatory information needs.
  • Data Solutions and Management: Oversee business-unit data requirements, reporting datasets, and fit-for-purpose analytical solutions. Partner with technology teams on scalable database and platform needs while guiding the team's development of smaller-scale data solutions, automation, and reporting enhancements.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Lead the team in implementing applicable enterprise data governance standards within the business unit. Establish practices that improve data quality, integrity, ownership, documentation, and appropriate use, and provide tools and training that strengthen data fluency across the organization.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, business, economics, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Seven years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data science, data engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across multiple business functions.

Preferred Requirements
  • 3 yrs energy or utility experience

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $120,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year
