This position is responsible for serving as a strategic finance partner to business leaders across the organization. The Senior Finance Manager will lead financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and performance management while providing actionable financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and Leadership to drive business performance, improve profitability, and support long-term growth initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses broad financial expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through collaborative partnership and sound financial guidance.   • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across assigned business units.
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to operations and business leaders, providing financial guidance that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve profitability, cash flow, and overall business performance.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and investment evaluations to support strategic initiatives and capital planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate pricing strategies, labor efficiency, capital expenditures, inventory management, and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Lead monthly business reviews by presenting financial results, key performance indicators, forecasts, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting while providing meaningful analysis of monthly results and performance drivers.
  • Support Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams on cross-functional initiatives that improve financial and operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial reporting packages that provide meaningful business insights.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and executive presentations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, integration activities, and strategic growth initiatives as needed.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to finance and accounting team members.
  • Promote strong internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Influence business decisions through proactive financial analysis rather than reactive reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Operations Finance, Controllership, or related disciplines.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other professional certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with financial planning, business analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience partnering directly with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial teams, or business leadership.
  • Experience developing financial models, business cases, capital investment analyses, and long-range financial plans.
  • Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, consumer products, or other operationally intensive industries preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong business partnering and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational and financial efficiencies.
