Job description

Salary: $84,000 annually
Schedule: Hybrid — Monday and Tuesday in office; Wednesday through Friday remote

Position Summary

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Risk Management Analyst to support enterprise risk, third-party risk, and internal control activities. This position is ideal for someone with experience in audit, compliance, risk management, vendor management, or a related field.

The Risk Management Analyst will partner with departments across the organization to identify potential risks, evaluate controls, monitor mitigation plans, and communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify emerging risks, evaluate potential business impacts, and recommend practical mitigation strategies
  • Review third-party and vendor due diligence documentation, identifying concerns, exceptions, and areas requiring additional attention
  • Develop risk assessments for business processes, products, services, and operational activities
  • Monitor risk mitigation plans, key risk indicators, and key performance indicators
  • Test internal controls to evaluate whether they are properly designed and operating effectively
  • Prepare reports and dashboards that clearly communicate risks, findings, trends, and recommendations
  • Coordinate periodic due diligence questionnaires with vendors and internal relationship owners
  • Stay current on regulatory guidance, cybersecurity concerns, economic developments, and industry risk-management practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in risk management, audit, compliance, vendor management, procurement, accounting, or a related area
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to review complex information, identify trends or concerns, and develop practical recommendations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related applications
  • Experience with third-party or vendor risk management is preferred
  • Experience with Archer software is a plus
  • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry is a plus
