Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
The Manager-Business Operations, acts as an adjunct leader and coordinator and supports initiatives and projects. The Manager - Business Operations implements strategic and operational initiatives by effectively managing projects to achieve desired results. Develops and oversees various subgroups and project teams, handles routine-to-complex matters and coordinates efforts, collaboration and communication between and to identified stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and sustainment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Implements identified strategic and operational initiatives. Acts as subject matter expert for and operationalizes initiatives such as quality, cost and utilization projects, regulatory standards and specifications. Engages with key stakeholders, participates in meetings, and acts as point of contact to ensure collaborative relationships and focus to optimize results. Coordinates the planning, design and execution of initiatives and projects identified by senior leadership and/or department leadership. Coordinates collaboration between a variety of stakeholders to see projects to successful implementation. Responsible for facilitating and/or leading effective communication around all projects to a variety of stakeholders, including physicians and Executive leaders. Facilitates effective subgroups and leadership meetings.
  • In partnership with appropriate stakeholders and teams, leads projects to execution. Collaborates with care delivery leaders to ensure alignment to strategic and quality initiatives, service line priorities, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Designs, implements, and manages necessary workflows; drives agenda to meet internal and external communication.
  • Drive value and leads projects in a collaborative manner through engagement of all stakeholders (including but not limited to: collaborative leadership teams, providers, operational leaders, Informatics, IT, Quality and Safety) to ensure stakeholder engagement. Executes projects through industry leading program management standards, and by following appropriate policies and procedures as set forth by the EPMO. Monitors and compares actual program performance with desired outcome, communicates deviations, and provides recommendations for corrective action, when needed. Mentors and educates team members to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Employs broad knowledge and understanding of operational processes and clinical workflows to forecast the impact of initiatives and ensure sustainability of desired outcomes. Serves as the key point of contact for all projects. Works independently and prioritizes multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment. Serves as a key member on the collaborative and network leadership teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors in Nursing, Business Administration or 4 years of equivalent relevant industry experience Required
  • Masters in Nursing, Business Administration or related field Preferred

EXPERIENCE
  • 4 years experience working with multi-disciplinary teams supporting operational processes and/or workflows Required

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Certification Project Manager Professional Certificate and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification and/or Clinical Informatics Certification Preferred
