The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing Safety, Quality, and Production within the clean rooms of our largest manufacturing site in Fairburn, GA. This role will engage with and lead people to foster a safety-first culture, ensure product quality, drive operational excellence, and deliver on customer satisfaction and employee engagement goals. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Manager will focus on continuous improvement, resource planning, cost management, and team leadership to achieve strategic business objectives. Team Leadership & Engagement

  • Lead a diverse team of production and engineering personnel, fostering a Safety-first culture and ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Drive team performance through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, recognition, and professional growth.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure products meet customer Quality expectations and specifications.
  • Lead team to meet Volume and On Time Delivery commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) efforts through Kaizen events, Standard Work, 5S and waste elimination.

Resource Planning & Cost Management

  • Analyze performance costs versus standards, identify opportunities, and drive improvement.
  • Attend SIOP & forecast meetings; own actions related to order book adherence, labor planning, on-time performance, and past due reduction.
  • Align direct labor, engineering resources, and capital investments with operational needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Clean Room experience required; Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations roles; with at least two (2) years directly leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of SIOP processes and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing cost-saving initiatives and driving performance improvements.
