The Surveillance Shift Manager plays a key leadership role in protecting the integrity, safety, and operational excellence of Live! Casino & Hotel. Your ability to guide Surveillance team members, oversee critical monitoring systems, and enforce regulatory and internal control standards ensures that the property remains secure and compliant around the clock. Through vigilant observation, decisive action, and strong supervision of daily shift operations, you help safeguard company assets, support a fair and trustworthy gaming environment, and uphold the high standards of professionalism and accountability that define the Live! brand.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians in performance of their duties on an assigned shift.
  • Responsible for supervising the monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Supervision of staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
  • Supervises department team members and procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and the guests.
  • Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Manager.
  • Understand all department operational logistics and supervise, monitor and report as appropriate.
  • Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Two (2) year associates degree or technical degree in a related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Four (4) to eight (8) years' experience in table games and casino surveillance.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.ย 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent vision and hearing.
  • Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
  • Must be able to stand and walk 30% of the time.

  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
