Job Description:

As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Aspiring at Ceiba CPAs and Consultants, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide top-notch accounting and tax services to our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tax Preparation: Proficiently prepare tax returns for individuals (1040), trusts (1041), corporations (1120 and 1120-S), and partnerships (1065).

2. CCH Axcess: Utilize CCH Axcess software to efficiently manage tax compliance tasks, streamline workflows, and maintain data accuracy.

3. Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their financial needs are met.

4. Tax Planning: Offer proactive tax planning advice to clients, helping them optimize their financial strategies and minimize tax liabilities.

5. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements and records, identifying opportunities for improvement and compliance with accounting standards.

6. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal and state tax laws and regulations, ensuring all filings are accurate and timely.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency in tax preparation for 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065 forms.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess software is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus but not mandatory.
