Job Title: RN Manager - Case Management (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Job Summary:
The RN Manager - Case Management provides clinical and operational leadership for the Case Management department within an acute care setting. This role is responsible for overseeing care coordination activities, ensuring efficient patient throughput, and supporting high-quality, cost-effective patient outcomes. The RN Manager leads a team of case managers, drives performance improvement initiatives, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight for case management operations in an acute care setting
  • Supervise and support case management staff in care coordination and discharge planning activities
  • Ensure timely and appropriate utilization of healthcare resources
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other team members to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor performance metrics, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance
  • Support staff development, coaching, and performance management
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow and reduce length of stay
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and payer requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare role
  • Minimum of 3 years of case management experience in an acute care/inpatient hospital setting
  • Minimum of 1 year of healthcare leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Healthcare or related field
  • Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM) upon hire
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
  • Active California RN License
  • At least 5 years of healthcare experience
  • At least 3 years of acute care case management experience
  • At least 1 year of healthcare leadership experience
  • Strong background in inpatient hospital case management and care coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements
