Job description

Position:  Broadcast Systems Engineer
Location: New York, NY(onsite)
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of complex broadcast/media systems.

  • Manage project schedules, resources, risks, and budgets.

  • Supervise installation teams on-site (racking, stacking, and cabling equipment).

  • Interpret technical documentation (schematics, run lists, floorplans).

  • Collaborate with engineering, vendor, and client teams for seamless execution.

  • Provide ongoing project updates, reports, and markups for as-built documentation.

  • Ensure quality, compliance, and on-time project delivery.

Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience as an Installation Lead or Project Supervisor in broadcast/media.

  • Strong background in deploying large-scale media or AV systems.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting system drawings and schematics.

  • Experience working with cables, connectors, and installation tools.

  • Able to lead teams and train staff on installation standards.

  • Familiar with commercial building trades related to system installation.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
