Job description

EVENT MARKETING MANAGER

Turn Conversations into Customers.

Lehigh Gap Exteriors | Northeastern Pennsylvania
Full-Time | Base Salary + Performance Bonuses

Are you the person who walks into an event and immediately sees opportunity?

Can you lead a team, start conversations with complete strangers, stay organized behind the scenes—and get excited about beating a goal?

Lehigh Gap Exteriors is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to build and lead our growing event marketing program.

This isn't an event-planning position where success is measured by how nice the booth looks.

Your job is to make events produce.

You'll own our home shows, fairs, festivals, community events, sponsorships, showroom events and other face-to-face marketing opportunities throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Your mission:

Build the calendar. Build the team. Create conversations. Generate leads. Book appointments. Measure the results.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

You will take responsibility for the entire event marketing program, including:

  • Building and maintaining a 12-month event calendar
  • Researching new home shows and community events
  • Evaluating which events are worth our investment
  • Registering and coordinating events
  • Managing booth logistics, displays, supplies and inventory
  • Coordinating transportation, setup and breakdown
  • Staffing events
  • Recruiting and developing Event Marketing Representatives as the department grows
  • Training your team to proactively engage homeowners
  • Setting lead and appointment goals
  • Making sure every lead is accurately entered and tracked in Builder Prime
  • Working with our call center and sales teams to maximize event opportunities
  • Tracking performance from lead through appointment and sale
  • Reporting event results and ROI to the Marketing Director

WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SIT BEHIND A TABLE.

Our event team needs to engage.

You'll teach your team how to approach homeowners, start natural conversations, uncover roofing, siding, window, gutter and door needs, and confidently ask for the appointment.

We don't want stacks of names that go nowhere.

We want qualified opportunities.

YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

Are outgoing without being pushy.

Love competition and measurable goals.

Naturally take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.

Can manage a calendar, people, deadlines and details.

Are comfortable coaching people and holding them accountable.

Can talk comfortably with homeowners.

Are willing to jump in and help set up a booth when needed.

Understand that marketing should ultimately produce revenue.

Look at numbers and ask, "How can we make this better?"

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

You'll own the event marketing funnel:

Events → Conversations → Leads → Appointments → Issued Appointments → Sales → Revenue

Key performance indicators will include:

  • Qualified leads
  • Appointments booked
  • Appointment conversion
  • Issued appointments
  • Cost per lead
  • Cost per appointment
  • Sales generated
  • Revenue
  • Event ROI
  • Team performance

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL

This is a full-time position with regular travel throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Home shows and community events often take place evenings and weekends, so schedule flexibility is required.

Company vehicle availability based on company policy.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

By the end of your first 90 days, we expect you to have taken ownership of the program.

You should have:

  • A strong 12-month event calendar underway
  • Standard event procedures
  • Organized event equipment and inventory
  • Consistent lead tracking
  • Event staffing processes
  • Lead and appointment benchmarks
  • Post-event reporting
  • Recommendations for which events we should grow—and which we should stop attending

WHY LEHIGH GAP EXTERIORS?

We're a growing local exterior remodeling company with an established reputation throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We're looking for someone who wants more than a job.

We want someone who sees an opportunity to build a department, develop a team and own a marketing channel.

If you're organized, competitive, energetic and believe a great event should produce more than foot traffic, we want to meet you.
