DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Special Education is seeking a creative and dynamic educator to serve in the position of Art Teacher. The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse populations of students with disabilities and demonstrate the ability to actively engage students with varying ability levels in meaningful, creative art experiences. Instruction should align with student learning objectives while fostering creativity, self-expression, and skill development.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • New York State Education Department Certification: Visual Arts
  • Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred

SALARY: As per labor contract.
