This role supports a federal cloud modernization program in the Boston / Hanscom Air Force Base area and requires the ability to access secure environments when needed.

Position Overview

Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead to support cloud architecture, automation, and engineering initiatives for a federal program operating in the Hanscom AFB area.

This senior engineering role is responsible for developing DevOps strategies and integration methodologies that support the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions. The Azure DevOps Lead will work across engineering teams to improve system performance, enable rapid deployment cycles, and ensure reliability across distributed cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Azure cloud architecture, DevOps automation practices, and large-scale cloud system integration, along with the ability to solve complex technical challenges and lead DevOps engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop DevOps strategy and integration methodologies for the design and deployment of cloud-based solutions
  • Support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation for cloud systems
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and engineering trade studies for cloud architectures
  • Define system requirements and interface specifications across hardware and software environments
  • Utilize operational trends and system metrics to improve DevOps frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Enable rapid development and release cycles for software updates, patches, and bug fixes
  • Integrate developer and user feedback into continuous delivery pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system functionality, performance, and configuration issues
  • Provide technical leadership on complex cloud engineering and DevOps challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud engineering, or related disciplines
  • Experience supporting cloud-based architecture and enterprise DevOps environments
  • Strong understanding of system integration, verification, validation, and cloud infrastructure engineering

Certifications

  • DoD IAT Level II certification required (Security+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or equivalent)
  • One or more cloud certifications required (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Azure cloud architecture and enterprise DevOps pipelines
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal cloud programs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Experience analyzing operational metrics to improve engineering processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and system performance optimization skills
