To be successful in this role, one must have ample experience leading a team, creating and implementing strategies, and business-to-business sales. This position also includes full mechanical knowledge, reprogramming using factory equipment, and a large amount of electrical diagnostics. Air Bag diagnostic knowledge and replacement after vehicles have been in a collision, R/I dash and motors, and R/R front suspension parts and subframes are also required.
Compensation:
$90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.Essential Job Duties
  • Hiring, training, and developing new Technicians

  • Provide prompt and professional service to assigned customers.

  • Provide mechanical and diagnostic procedures on most vehicle makes and models.

  • Maintain current knowledge of new systems and techniques in the automotive industry, i.e. airbag systems, radar cruise control,

  • forward collision warning, adaptive headlights, and so forth.

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through the use of our company Core Values and Brand Promise.

  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • As a General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for technicians in an allocated area.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of automotive repair experience.

  • High School Degree (or GED equivalent).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Read wiring diagrams & diagnose vehicles.

  • Possess and display a strong and healthy work ethic.

  • Strong time management skills and detailed-oriented.

  • Professional appearance and outgoing personality.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Work in a shop environment including heat and loud noise.

  • Some positions in this classification may involve operating a motor vehicle for work-related duties. Employees assigned driving responsibilities must meet all applicable eligibility and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient use of a variety of automotive service and diagnostic equipment such as Moto Logic & Identifix.
