We are looking for a Mechanical Designer in Santa Fe, Tx to join to a collaborative team where you'll be instrumental in creating and verifying designs from concept to production. Ourideal candidate is a highly proficient CAD user with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects while seamlessly collaborating with various teams to produce precise and accurate engineering drawings.If you thrive on managing diverse projects and solving problems, this is the perfect opportunity to see your precise work directly impact our manufacturing and sales success.

Mechanical Designer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design new and modify legacy API valves

  • Produce 3D solid models, 2D layouts, and general assembly drawings

  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • Administer / Issue ECR/ECNs

  • Collaborate with other department personnel, within and outside the engineering department

  • Consider the implications of product cost

  • Work in a safe manner

Mechanical Designer Skills and Experience:

  • 2 Year technical degree or other relevant training

  • Proficient in Solid Modeling – SolidWorks, ACAD Inventor, or Fusion 360

  • Working knowledge of ASME Y14 drafting standards

  • Working knowledge of API 6A and 6D.

  • Familiar with ERP Systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Familiar with hydrostatic testing

  • 2+ yearsexperience with industrial equipment, processes and/or valve related products
