Duke Chevrolet GMC in Suffolk, VA. has an opening for an experienced auto detail tech that is capable of all aspects of detailing vehicles. And, our detail shop is fully air-conditioned with all the equipment you need!  From readying a new vehicle for delivery to the new owner, to fully reconditioning trade vehicles, including buffing and waxing! We require a positive can-do attitude, be able to work in a rewarding team environment and have great skills with detailing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • New Vehicles - clean for inventory or sold delivery.
  • Trade vehicles - recondition for inventory.
  • Wash/Detail Exterior and Interior of new and pre-owned, and service vehicles
  • Cleaning carpet and upholstery shampoo, vacuum, cleaning and treating leather upholstery, dashboards, etc.
  • Engine cleaning
  • Buffing Experience a Plus
  • Communicate vehicle/scheduling/maintenance issues with Management

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Auto Detail tech.
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods of time
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pay strong attention to detail
