We are seeking a talented Senior Unity Developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of impactful XR solutions.
Position Overview:
As Engineer- Platforms at GigXR, you will be contributing to development of the platform that supports our suite of healthcare and educational training applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain platform solutions using .NET and related technologies.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration with various internal and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions, including front-end, back-end, and database components.
- Ensure data integrity and performance optimization across multiple databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL).
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 5/6/7).
- Strong knowledge of API design, development, and integration (RESTful services, GraphQL is a plus).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
