Electrical Designer Pawtucket, RI (On site) Perm/Direct with Full Benefits Pay - pretty open, would like to be around $90K but could go higher depending on experience. Electrical Designer Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join a leading engineering and construction firm specializing in design-build mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), process piping, and automation solutions. The company partners with clients in the life sciences, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and institutional markets, delivering complex projects from concept through construction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical construction who can translate field experience into practical, buildable designs using Revit. Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical construction drawings and models using Revit. Design power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial and industrial facilities. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, estimators, and field personnel throughout all phases of a project. Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure constructability. Support design-build, renovation, and retrofit projects from concept through completion. Review drawings and resolve field conflicts before construction begins. Ensure designs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable building codes, and client specifications. Incorporate field feedback to improve design quality, constructability, and installation efficiency.
