Job description

JOB LOCATION: 1025 Lenox Park Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319
DUTIES: Senior Applications Development needed by Cricket Wireless, LLC in Atlanta, GA to Oversee the complete lifecycle of software applications or services. Design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and maintenance, all with a focus on automation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and review software requirements and user stories, providing accurate estimates and creating detailed software design specifications. Execute specific development methodologies using various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans and strategies, collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, data, and results. Engage in dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Provide production application support, troubleshoot configuration and environmental issues, and support the software deployment process. Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable microservices using the Spring Boot framework. Utilize Azure cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale microservices, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and more. Work with SQL or NoSQL databases, handling data modeling, querying, and performance tuning. Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems. Use Docker and other containerization technologies to package microservices for deployment. Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate solutions like Azure Monitor and Application Insights to track microservices' performance and health. Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in Agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Work closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to meet business requirements and align with the overall system architecture. Debug and resolve issues, providing technical support as needed. Document processes and share knowledge with team members to promote continuous learning and improvement. Uphold Scrum values of commitment, courage, focus, openness, and respect throughout the development process. Work with application design and development with Java 21, Spring boot 3, and Maven. Utilize Azure development tools including ADO, AKS, Key vault, App config, Application insights. Work with DevOps framework such as Azure DevOps,
CI/CD pipeline build and deployments. Implement ETL pipelines with Spring batch, including to and from files, MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra. Work with event-based architecture utilizing Solace and Azure Service bus. Utilize Camunda DMN decision tables to implement application flows and literal expressions. Work with the Telecom domain, including Affiliate Channels, Referral Programs and Device specifications. Utilize Veracode, SonarQube, Bugsnag tools for code quality and security. Work experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI driven and agent based solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, and 3 years of experience in the job offered, or 3 years of experience in a related occupation working with application design and development with Java 21, Spring boot 3, and Maven; utilizing Azure development tools including ADO, AKS, Key vault, App config, Application insights; working with DevOps framework such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline build and deployments; implementing ETL pipelines with Spring batch, including to and from files, MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra; working with event-based architecture utilizing Solace and Azure Service bus; utilizing Camunda DMN decision tables to implement application flows and literal expressions; and working with the Telecom domain, including eSIM, and Devices (voice, data, wearables), Veracode, SonarQube, Bugsnag tools for code quality and security; working with the Telecom domain, including Affiliate Channels, Referral Programs and Device specifications; utilizing Veracode, SonarQube, Bugsnag tools for code quality and security; working experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI driven and agent based solutions.
