Functional Area: IT
The Role
Plan, direct, analyze, design, develop, maintain, improve, and implement business processes and corresponding software applications to enable the Finance department. This is done according to the priorities and direction established by Finance and IT Leadership team. Supervises all members of assigned team, with at least one direct report.
What You'll Do
  • Lead efforts of all team projects, giving direction to other team members and internal customers. Prioritize in accordance with guidance provided, organizational needs and resources available. Provide adequate feedback/reporting on the status of those projects.
  • Assist Finance determining organizational needs. Turning those needs into well scoped and documented requirements, and in turn prioritize and schedule projects by interpreting said requirements and business strategy.
  • Document application systems and procedures according to organizational needs. This includes test scripts, maintenance, process, training, customer, etc., ensuring compliance with department standards and proper handoff to testing team.
  • Providing on-going information, support, and training as needed for internal customers and team members.
  • Document application systems and procedures according to organizational needs.
  • Test/debug application systems to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, meet requirements, and have acceptable transaction response times while adhering to time constraints and project deadlines.
  • Exhibit proficient technical skills/abilities required for developing, implementing and maintaining business software applications within specified time frames, using the tools required for the position.
  • Provide front-line contact with software vendors for installation, upgrades, and support issues related to the Finance business areas. Also plan for, monitor, coordinate, and direct activities of contracted personnel for support of their projects.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in related field.
  • Knowledge - Project Management knowledge and Application system design and development
  • Skills - Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication. Excellent people management skills including team building/mentoring, motivational, career development, conflict resolution. Must possess strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Abilities - Ability to collaborate with the business leaders and understand the application of information systems to enhance and control business processes High level of integrity and trust. Ability to confront direct reports in a firm and timely manner. Ability to build effective teams and create strong morale and spirit in his/her team. Ability to think strategically, delegate actions clearly and proactively.

The base pay range for this position is $107,176 to $171,336 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
