Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 


Reporting to the Rink and Programs Manager, the Ice Rink Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day management of the Ice Rink Department, serving as the primary on-site supervisor for Ice Rink Attendants, providing oversight of staff, customer service, ice activities, and programming at the Community Ice Rink (“CIR”) and Angel Of The Winds Arena (“Main Rink”). They will be responsible for ensuring safe, professional, and efficient rink operations and act as the first point of escalation for staff, guests, and user groups during daily operations.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $22.00 - $25.00

Located in the heart of downtown Everett, Washington, Angel of the Winds Arena is home to the WHL’s Everett Silvertips, the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center, and the Everett Community Ice Rink and is the premier destination for sports, entertainment, and community events in the Pacific Northwest. Since opening its doors in 2003, the Arena has hosted millions of guests and a wide variety of events—from high-energy concerts and thrilling hockey games to family shows, trade expos, and community celebrations. Angel of the Winds Arena is proudly owned by the Everett Public Facilities District and managed by Oak View Group (OVG), a leader in sports and live entertainment venue operations.


  • Provide daily supervision of Ice Rink Attendants and shift oversight, including role assignments (ice host, front desk, birthday host, etc.) to ensure adequate coverage and a positive customer service experience.
  • Ensure positive, professional representation of the facility at all times.
  • Assist with training, motivating, and evaluating Ice Rink staff.
  • Respond to customer service issues, escalated guest concerns, and on-ice incidents (including injuries and safety concerns); ensure incidents are documented and reported appropriately.
  • Enforce rink rules, policies, and safety standards during public skate sessions, drop-ins, and special events.
  • Oversee daily cash handling procedures and ensure adherence to established financial controls.
  • Support ice usage for all user groups and rink programs during scheduled activities, ensuring smooth execution of programs and events.
  • Work collaboratively with hockey and skating associations during tournaments and special events to ensure successful operations.
  • Maintain accurate records related to daily operations, incidents, staffing, and programs.
  • Complete administrative tasks including reports, emails, and internal communications.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the facility; oversee and assist with janitorial duties as needed. 
  • Perform Ice Rink Attendant duties as needed to support operations, provide coverage, or respond to staffing shortages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of Ice Rink Programs (LTS, Youth and Adult Hockey, Figure Skating) is preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of Customer Service experience required.
  • Cash register and cash handling experience a plus.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of the Ice Rink schedule, prices, procedures, rules, and programs offered.
  • Show a willingness to take on new challenges and go above and beyond.
  • Be a self-starter; have the ability to take directions; and be able to work in small and large groups to complete required tasks within time constraints and in a safe manner.
  • Able to deal knowledgeably, pleasantly, and professionally with the public.
  • Must be punctual and organized.
  • Must be able to follow procedures.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies on a regular basis.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, work extra hours as needed, and have weekend availability.
  • Must work in varying weather conditions.
