The Senior Manager, Consumer Analytics & Data Product leads the development of scalable consumer data models, standardized metrics, and AI-powered reporting solutions.
This role bridges analytics, data engineering, and business teams to ensure data is trusted, consistent, and actionable, while enabling both self-service analytics and agentic (AI-driven) reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Metrics
  • Partner with data engineering to address gaps in behavioral and customer data models
  • Define and govern core consumer metrics and dimensions
  • Ensure consistent implementation across query layers, BI tools, and AI reporting

Analytics Product Ownership (Agentic Reporting)
  • Own consumer revenue AI/BI and agentic reporting products
  • Lead model training, benchmarking, and new AI-driven analytics applications
  • Drive user onboarding, adoption, and ongoing enablement

Data Access & Governance
  • Design a tiered data access model for analysts, business users, and executives
  • Balance self-service flexibility with data consistency and governance

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner with analytics and analytics engineering to ensure consistency of metrics and definitions
  • Align on evolving constructs like audience segments, channels, and products

Insights & Decision Support
  • Deliver analytical frameworks and toolkits, including, content attribution & monetization, audience segmentation & RFM, and revenue & subscription forecasting
  • Support editorial, audience, and consumer teams with actionable insights

KPI Reporting & Knowledge Sharing
  • Develop reporting aligned to departmental KPIs
  • Share multi-brand insights and best practices across teams

Technical Leadership
  • Serve as a resource for analysts on SQL, Python, and AI-assisted analytics
  • Elevate team capabilities in modern analytics tools and methodologies

Qualifications
  • 6-8 years in consumer analytics, data analytics, or analytics engineering
  • Strong experience with SQL, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Proven ability to define metrics, semantic layers, and analytics products
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience with AI/BI or agentic reporting, and background in media, subscription, or e-commerce businesses

The expected base salary range for this position is from $97,500 - $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
