Salary/Pay Rate Range 78 ($55,375.20 - $93,096.00 Annually). Additional Salary Information

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Behavioral Analysis, Education, or Psychology and certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as issued by the nationally accredited Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA®). 48 months or more experience in the practice of behavioral analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Serves as the regional team lead and supervisor for the ADMH-Division of Developmental Disabilities
(DDD) behavioral/clinical consult team called Comprehensive Support Services (CSS) serving a population of children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities, who receive Medicaid-funded Home and Community Based supports in Alabama.
• Maintains a database of services provided by their regional CSS team, provides reports regarding team
activities and regional data trends, and coordinates the activities of all members of their assigned
regional CSS Team.
• Analyzes and develops Home and Community Based focused behavioral treatment strategies based on assessments and data analysis to determine relative effectiveness and impact of procedures,
• Develops action and quality improvement plans for specialized cases and critical case behavioral referrals for the ADMH-DDD community, to include the dually diagnosed population.
• Conducts ADMH-DDD system audits regarding individuals receiving positive behavior supports via Medicaid HCBS programming, behavior support plan reviews, quarterly report reviews, and oversight for Community behavior specialists, supports, and providers.
• Conducts face to face observations, training for staff, family members, caregivers, and providers on specialized behavior management techniques for use in positive behavior supports in person, within the community, and virtually.
• Maintains and updates ADMH DD Standards and Guidelines related to Behavioral Supports Analyzes and interprets behavioral assessment and treatment data to determine the relative effectiveness of procedures being applied.
• Serves as member of relevant committees within ADMH and the community related to behavioral programming, attending meetings, trainings, and related workgroups.
• Maintains and updates ADMH DD standards and guidelines related to behavioral support services,
ensuring consistency across statewide CSS standards through review of related data and benchmarks..

• Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and ability to maintain current, evidenced based field
literature regarding behavior analysis.
• Knowledge of professional and ethical guidelines, federal and state laws, and departmental rules
governing the practice of behavior modification.
• Knowledge of behavior assessment instruments and measurement principles.
• Knowledge of various behavioral treatment modalities to include the use of medications. This includes
knowledge of medication control procedures, and behavior problems related to medications.
• Ability to plan and design individual behavior support programs for assigned individuals.
• Ability to effectively supervise assigned staff members, and work cooperatively with individuals receiving
services and their families as well as community stakeholders.
• Ability to ensure that program delivery staff learn and understand the purpose and methods of
implementing individual program plans where applicable.
• Ability to develop valid reliable measures of observing and tracking individuals needs and progress.
• Ability to assess effectiveness of treatment program and make corrections to effect desired results.
• Ability to consult and collaborate with various stakeholder groups, committees, and interdisciplinary
groups for the purpose of supporting and expanding service capacity.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage workload to meet specific timeframes and deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with community at large, delivering expert
knowledge and guidance on areas within scope of practice.
Necessary Special Requirements
• Applicants must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, by the nationally accredited Behavior Analyst
Certification Board (BCBA®).
