Job description

Kepler executes engineered marketing, where every message and ad delivered helps create a more personalized and productive relationship between brands and their consumers. We do this by acting as clients' agency of record, as their in-house team, or some hybrid of the two - and by harnessing data and technology across all paid digital media and data-driven CRM channels.

Kepler prides itself on being a great place to work. In fact, we're proud to share that AdAge recognized Kepler among the Best Place to Work in 2022, validating our investment in our team and our clients.
  • We're transparent with our employees. You'll hear updates on company financials, how we're performing against bonus goals, and how we're responding to challenges we face.
  • We're growing. For you, that means unparalleled growth opportunities and a role in shaping the direction of the company.
  • We're fun. You'll work with and learn from the smartest people in the industry and have a blast doing it.

THE TEAM

Kepler's Strategy & Activation team is comprised of forward-thinking media architects who blend technical platform mastery with high-level marketing intuition. We design integrated media ecosystems across a variety landscapes. Our team stays ahead of data privacy shifts and emerging tech to ensure our clients aren't just participating in the market-they're defining it.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, Strategy & Activation (Amazon media), you will be a key driver in translating client business objectives into sophisticated media blueprints. You will oversee the full lifecycle of a campaign-from strategic ideation and tactical planning to hands-on optimization and insight generation.

We are looking for a "Strategic Trader"-someone who understands the why behind the how, leveraging data to tell a story and pivoting tactics in real-time to drive incremental growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Refine your expertise in leveraging digital media channels for maximum impact - primarily focusing on Amazon Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP with opportunities to work across social (Facebook, Twitter), video everywhere (Advanced TV: YouTube, Hulu, TV Networks, FireTV, Roku, etc), programmatic media via DSPs (audio, display/native, Digital Out of Home/DOOH, etc), (SEM/PPC: Google, Bing, etc)
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for assigned retail clients and vendors; track, escalate and solve client issues
  • Partner with clients to understand their business goals, marketing objectives, and competitive constraints
  • Work closely with your Manager and other Kepler team members to design and execute sophisticated programs that deliver breakthrough client results
  • Execute and monitor all aspects of campaign setup; measure performance using sophisticated data analysis
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy reports; contribute to all aspects of ongoing program analysis
  • Go beyond basic metrics to analyze the "so what." Use data to uncover deep consumer insights, optimize for long-term value (LTV), and refine attribution models.
  • Develop and execute robust A/B testing frameworks (creative, audience, and bidding) to constantly push the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Act as a strategic consultant for your clients, translating technical platform updates into actionable business opportunities during weekly, monthly, and annual strategy reviews.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3+ years of experience working with Amazon Search Ads and Amazon DSP is required
  • Knowledge of the Amazon Advertising suite, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
  • Similar retail media network experience is preferred
  • Experience with client and account management, with the ability to translate retail media metrics into business insights for the client.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong ability to create and build relationships
  • Proven ability to move beyond basic execution into true "Activation Strategy"-understanding how retail data, budget pacing, and platform algorithms work together.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn complex Excel or BI tool data into compelling slide decks and strategic narratives.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage complex workloads in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Transparency is fundamental to Kepler's culture. Our compensation strategy is designed to attract, reward, and retain the talented employees that drive Kepler's growth and success. We aim to offer competitive direct compensation and a rich indirect compensation program that demonstrates the value we place on our employees and their wellbeing.
