Graphic Design Specialist

First State Community Bank is looking for a Graphic Design Specialist who can turn ideas into engaging visual experiences. In this role, you'll create compelling designs that support marketing campaigns, social media, branch advertising, and communications across our organization.

What You'll Do
  • Design eye-catching graphics and marketing materials for print and digital platforms.
  • Create content for social media, advertising campaigns, branch displays, and electronic signage.
  • Develop creative concepts that strengthen and elevate our brand.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to bring ideas from concept to completion.
  • Ensure all content is polished, on-brand, and impactful.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven graphic design experience required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Creative, strategic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexible, approachable, and customer-focused professional demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, branding, and design aesthetics.
  • Photography experience preferred but not required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations (e.g., 6-8 hours with breaks).
  • Occasionally required to stand or walk short distances.
  • Manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse and telephone system.
  • Visual acuity to read computer screens and written documents.
  • Occasionally lifting office supplies, files and small packages (typically up to 10-25 lbs.)
  • Ability to hear and understand spoken communication, including customer (internal and external) inquiries and phone conversations.
  • Ability to speak clearly and be understood in person and over the phone.
