Delivery Associate

Hive Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Partner in Lafayette, IN. We're looking for reliable, customer-focused drivers to join our team immediately – with interviews as soon as tomorrow and paid training within days.

Compensation: $21.50/hr

Shift Time(s): ~ 10hr routes approx., 4-5 days/wk (must be available a minimum 1 weekend day)

What You'll Do:

As a Delivery Associate, you'll drive a company vehicle, delivering 200 - 350 packages per day. After loading up, you'll use a company mobile device to check in, navigate, and complete your deliveries. You will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more.

Delivery Associate Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages for your route
  • Safely operate your delivery vehicle while following traffic laws at all times
  • Use company technology throughout your day: loading/unloading/delivering, customer information, communication (with customers, Hive team, support desk) GPS, routing, etc.
  • Navigate a variety of routes and work in varying weather conditions throughout delivery area.
  • Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner; We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
  • Maintain company fleet with pre/post trip inspections and keeping them organized and clean; Report any issues or problems to management immediately

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50lbs
  • Able to get in and out of van frequently and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to learn how to use handheld electronics with app based technology
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekends and weekdays: Shift durations vary by day and routes run 7 days per week; associates are scheduled for 1 weekend day, 3 weekdays.
