GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Director of Collegiate Growth is responsible for supporting the execution of Alpha Delta Pi’s growth initiatives, with primary responsibility for extension operations, campus engagement logistics, and implementation support for organizational growth strategies.

This role ensures that approved growth and extension strategies are executed effectively through detailed planning, coordination, and on-site engagement. The Assistant Director of Collegiate Growth manages the operational components of extension projects, including campus logistics, stakeholder coordination, presentation support, and post-project documentation.

Working closely with the Senior Director of Growth and cross-functional partners, this position plays a critical role in translating growth strategies into successful on-the-ground execution, while also supporting data gathering, market analysis support, and relationship coordination that inform future growth planning.

This role is highly field-based and requires frequent travel to campuses and stakeholder meetings in support of extension and growth initiatives.

DUTIES PERFORMED Extension Execution & Campus Operations
  • Execute approved extension strategies through comprehensive campus-based implementation and operational coordination.
  • Manage on-site extension logistics including scheduling, travel coordination, campus engagement planning, and event execution.
  • Support development and delivery of extension presentations, proposals, and supporting materials in partnership with the Senior Director of Growth.
  • Coordinate engagement with campus administrators, fraternity/sorority life professionals, and key stakeholders during extension visits.
  • Ensure alignment of all extension activities with organizational messaging, branding, and approved strategic direction.
  • Support post-extension evaluation activities including documentation of outcomes, lessons learned, and operational insights.
  • Support the monitoring of higher education, fraternity/sorority, and recruitment trends by gathering and organizing relevant campus-level insights.
  • Assist in compiling competitive and environmental data to support organizational decision-making and growth strategy development.
  • Contribute to campus visit reporting and synthesis of field observations for use by the Senior Director of Growth and Data & Strategy Team.
  • Support assessment of campus environments, demographics, and recruitment conditions through structured data collection and reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of campus-level conditions and provide timely updates to inform growth planning and decision-making.
Project Coordination & Implementation Support
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and operational workplans for extension and growth initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional alignment between Brand Advancement, Data & Strategy, Housing and Facilities, and Membership Experience teams on growth-related projects.
  • Assist in preparation of materials, presentations, and logistical planning for campus-based and stakeholder engagements.
  • Track progress of growth initiatives and ensure operational tasks are completed on time and aligned with strategic direction.
  • Support implementation of growth initiatives by managing tactical execution details and follow-through.
Relationship Management & Field Engagement
  • Serve as a professional representative of Alpha Delta Pi in campus settings, meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus professionals, volunteers, and external partners during extension and growth activities.
  • Support campus visits, presentations, and engagement activities led by the Growth team.
  • Capture field insights and stakeholder feedback to inform future growth planning and strategy development.
  • Represent Alpha Delta Pi in a manner consistent with organizational values, messaging, and strategic priorities.
SUGGESTED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education, fraternity/sorority life, recruitment, event coordination, project management, or related fields.
  • Experience in campus-based engagement, student affairs, or membership-based organizations preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and field-based assignments.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, travel-intensive environments.
  • Knowledge of Alpha Delta Pi or similar organizations preferred.

EMPLOYMENT LOCATION

This position is based at Alpha Delta Pi’s Executive Office in Atlanta, GA. to perform tasks that are generally required to be performed in-person. Atlanta based staff participate in a hybrid work schedule that may be granted after the first 90-days of employment. Alpha Delta Pi reserves the right to change work status with notice to employee .
