Position Summary:

In the Stock Program Manager position, you'll own and execute the day-to-day administration of Direct Supply's equity and stock programs, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient program operations. You'll partner closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional Partner experience while maintaining strong governance and operational excellence. This role combines operational execution, process optimization, and technology enablement, requiring a highly organized professional who can navigate the intersection of finance, accounting, technology, and employee experience. You'll also identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous improvement practices to enhance the scalability, accuracy, and effectiveness of the stock program.

What You'll Do and Impact:
  • Own the day-to-day administration of Direct Supply's equity and stock programs, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of grants, vesting events, exercises, transactions, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain the integrity of equity data across systems while partnering with Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll, and external providers to support seamless stock program operations and reporting.
  • Support equity-related accounting, financial reporting, audit activities, and close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for Partners by providing education, guidance, and support related to equity programs, processes, and tools while helping create a positive employee experience.
  • Prepare and analyze equity program reporting, forecasts, and trends to provide actionable insights that support financial planning, compliance, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and enhance operational efficiency through automation, system enhancements, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Partner across the organization to modernize stock program operations by improving workflows, integrating systems, and leveraging technology to increase scalability, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance, enhance reporting capabilities, and support the evolving needs of Direct Supply's equity programs and Partners.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience administering equity compensation programs, stock plans, accounting, finance, total rewards, or related operational functions.
  • Experience supporting stock-based compensation accounting, financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll, and external service providers.
  • Proficiency with equity management platforms, financial systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience leveraging technology, automation, system integrations, and data analysis to improve operational efficiency and reporting.

Additional Items of Interest:
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation preferred.
  • Experience with equity management platforms such as Carta, Shareworks, Fidelity, E*TRADE, Morgan Stanley, or similar systems.
  • Experience in a private, pre-IPO, or high-growth company environment.
  • Familiarity with integrations between equity administration, payroll, HRIS, and financial systems.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or reporting technologies to improve finance operations.
