Job description

Application deadline: Sep 5, 2026
Shape the future of live events advertising at Amazon. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical for Live Events Optimizer, you'll own the end-to-end advertiser experience for our fastest-growing programmatic solution. You'll transform how advertisers buy live sports and events inventory by driving intuitive UX, actionable reporting, and backend optimizations that ensure budgets are spent efficiently during peak moments.

Partner with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to balance technical sophistication with seamless user experiences-defining the next generation of live advertising at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Own advertiser-facing experiences: Partner with UX design to transform complex live events workflows (pacing, forecasting) into intuitive, self-service interactions for campaign creation and management.
Define actionable reporting: Build performance dashboards that surface insights across sport, league, event, and deal dimensions, integrating with Amazon DSP's broader reporting infrastructure.
Drive backend optimizations: Improve pacing algorithms, forecasting accuracy, and delivery reliability systems to ensure budgets are fully spent during high-value live moments.
Shape product strategy: Partner with senior leadership to prioritize roadmap items, translate strategic goals into requirements, and deliver measurable outcomes (e.g., advertiser satisfaction, budget delivery rates).
Voice of the Customer: Engage directly with advertisers, agencies, and sales teams to uncover pain points in campaign setup, delivery, and measurement.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with engineering, applied science, design, sales, and go-to-market teams to align technical capabilities with business needs.
Validate through experimentation: Run A/B tests on UX flows and backend systems to iterate rapidly and improve advertiser outcomes.
A day in the life
We're building the next generation of advertising technology that transforms how brands connect with audiences during the moments that matter most. Our team combines deep ad tech expertise with a customer-first mindset, working collaboratively to solve complex technical challenges while keeping the advertiser experience at the center of everything we do. We're committed to creating products that balance sophistication with simplicity, enabling our customers to achieve their goals with confidence

As part of our group, you'll work alongside talented engineers, scientists, and designers who are passionate about innovation and committed to supporting each other's growth. Together, we're shaping the future of live events advertising and building products that our customers love.
About the team
As a Senior Product Manager - Technical for Live Events Optimizer, you'll focus on building intuitive, high-performing experiences that help advertisers discover, activate, and measure live events campaigns. Your day might include collaborating with UX Designers to simplify complex workflows into self-service interactions, diving deep into backend systems to understand pacing algorithms and forecasting models, or engaging directly with advertisers to understand their pain points in campaign setup and performance measurement

You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution-defining reporting capabilities that surface actionable insights, evaluating engineering trade-offs to ensure scalable solutions, and running experiments to validate your product decisions. You'll also partner across Software Engineers, Applied Scientists, Sales, and Marketing teams to translate technical capabilities into seamless experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.
