Garver’s growing Texas Aviation team needs a talented Project Manager who manages Owner’s Rep / Construction / Airline type projects to support our airline clients. The Aviation Project Manager will be responsible for supporting a wide array of aviation-related technical planning, project controls, and document controls, among other client management services.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage design and construction administration oversight for multiple clients.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure project intents are maintained and are aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and invoices for the Owner.
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs and communicate relevant information.
  • Oversee contractor progress and file weekly progress reports.
  • Oversee project document control processes.
  • Manage the integration of schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor progress, provide financial control, and ensure quality control of the project.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative solutions to best meet project goals.
  • Oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other outside vendors.
  • Prepare memos, reports, briefings, and other client deliverables.
  • Assist project team with tracking and reporting of logistics, phasing, and construction plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in complex airport construction projects or airport real estate.
  • Airport Operations and/or airline operations experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Power BI, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Travel may be required with occasional overnights.
Preferred Skills and Accreditations:
  • Previous experience managing a multi-disciplined project.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • AAAE Certification(s) (ACE, CM, AAE).
  • Experience with project management and construction management platforms
  • Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience.
