Job description

We are looking for a Retail and CPG Industry Solutions Architect Leader. Retail is a key industry for NVIDIA where we are helping customers build out a wide variety of state of the art AI solutions from "Computer-Vision Aided Loss Prevention" to "Agentic AI-Based Customer Engagement" to "Digital Twins driving Store Optimization and Robotics" (to name a few). NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding Solutions Architect leader with GenAI and GPU computing experience.

Your primary responsibilities will be to lead, coach, and grow the Retail Industry team of Solutions Architects who are focused on AI technical engagements with primary focus on Retail, CPG, and QSR Customers. You should have experience working with NVIDIA AI software and systems. Your ability to work independently is essential, and you will rely upon your excellent interpersonal skills during customer engagements.

We expect you to work closely with the entire customer team, including sales and program management, as well as cross functionally with other NVIDIA organizations and partners. What you'll be doing: As a key leader of the Retail Industry team, you will be part of the team developing overall industry strategy and aligning the Solution Architect team to drive customer NVIDIA technology adoption through architecture work and Proof Of Concept support. Be an industry leader with a vision for integrating NVIDIA technologies for accelerated architectures to support large scale deployments for Edge, Datacenter, and Cloud solutions for Retail customers Assisting field business development in leading the technical relationship with key customers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technologies.

Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects to help NVIDIA's customer base. Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions, so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using NVIDIA's accelerated computing platform. Drive NVIDIA's AI and GPU accelerated platform adoption by working with an elite product engineering teams to ensure we have the best possible products and services for our customers.

Should be able to step into a Solutions Architect role when required to support our customers. What we need to see: BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of proven experience in technical leadership and people management roles within the technology industry 8+ overall years of work related experience in AI and Machine Learning experience.

Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies Outstanding people-management skills; able to encourage and cultivate the right behaviors in others through leading by example (Player/Coach) Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects. Success in matrixed organizations e.g. demonstrating a history of diagnosing complex issues, rallying the necessary skills and resources, driving alignment across stakeholders, and coaching multi-functional teams to implement effectively
