Job description

NCRM, Inc. is a land and resource management consulting firm located in Ukiah and Eureka California. For more than four decades, we have provided professional services throughout Northern California in the fields of forestry, carbon management, conservation planning, utility management, stormwater compliance, land use planning, water rights, GIS, wildlife biology, botany, and arboriculture.

Our diverse client base includes private timberland and agricultural landowners, utility companies, municipalities, state and federal agencies, and conservation organizations.

Position Overview

NCRM is seeking full-time Registered Professional Foresters (RPF) to join our experienced and growing team of natural resource professionals for work located in the following counties: Humboldt, Shasta, Trinity, Lassen, Mendocino, Plumas, Sonoma, Butte, Napa, Sierra, Marรญn, Nevada, Santa Cruz, Placer, Santa Clara, El Dorado.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utility permitting, oversight, and project management
  • Manage forestry and natural resource projects from planning through completion
  • Prepare and administer Timber Harvest Plans (THPs)
  • Conduct resource assessments and field evaluations
  • Provide professional forestry guidance and recommendations to clients
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation
Qualifications
  • Current California Registered Professional Forester (RPF) license
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience preparing forestry-related reports and plans
  • Valid California driverโ€™s license required
  • ATV operation experience preferred
