Admissions Director (experienced in Skilled Nursing)
  • Salary range: $53k - $68k annually

  • Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, and free life insurance.

Skilled Nursing Management Co. is looking to hire an Admissions Director, experiences in skilled nursing facility admissions.


The Admissions Director ensure the admissions process is smooth and comfortable for residents through:

  • Inquiry & Referral Management: Respond quickly to phone calls, faxes, and emails from hospitals and families. Review medical records to check if the facility can meet the care needs of the potential resident.

  • Insurance & Financial Verification: Check Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance benefits through online portals before approving an admission. Coordinate with billing teams to explain payment terms and financial responsibilities to families.

  • Facility Tours & Marketing: Conduct tours for prospective residents and families. Build strong relationships with hospital case managers and social workers to bring in new referrals.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure admission agreements, privacy forms, and legal documents (like Power of Attorney) are completed correctly and uploaded to electronic medical record to PointClickCare.

  • Bed Coordination: Work daily with the Director of Nursing and housekeeping to track bed availability, room changes, and planned discharges.

Requirements:

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

  • As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, but a Bachelors degree is preferred;

  • One to two years of experience in marketing /admissions in a Skilled Nursing Facility;

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and outstanding customer service skills;

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
