Job Summary

The Data Services organization is responsible for collecting, managing, transforming, and stewarding a complex suite of business data for a broad array of stakeholders across the Coca-Cola system. The Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the availability, accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of the Coca-Cola system data.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with internal/external customers to understand, research & correct data issues
  • Collaborate with IT departments to create reporting data that meets Coke System requirements
  • Work with source systems to integrate data feeds & confirm accuracy
  • Adhere to established validation processes & document for SOC Audits
  • Prioritize tasks for file transfer partners
  • Integrate into customer teams by anticipating requirements & delivering exceptional service in the analysis & understanding of raw data
  • Provide reporting details to help stakeholders of varying technical/business expertise understand data issues
  • Become an SME in how data is used in downstream systems & direct stakeholders to appropriate teams to answer system-specific questions
  • Offer guidance & enable stakeholders to make informed business decisions from data provided by customers
  • Proactively automate repetitive processes
  • Act as the primary POC for source system data questions
  • Create & maintain master data mappings for system data
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in handling extensive data sets and identifying anomalies, as well as problems that contribute to failures.
  • Knowledge of the Coca-Cola Bottler Franchise System.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Foundational knowledge of relational data principles.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and syntax
  • Expertise in utilizing the Microsoft suite of tools, including Power BI
Education Requirements

Minimum: High School or GED - with related experience

Years of Experience

3+ years of experience in a technical data steward-type role.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the business.
