A Taste of What You’ll Do

As the Senior Associate Commerce Marketing Manager (Spirits or Beer/Malt/RTD), you will lead the development of annual commerce marketing strategies that bring our brands to life across every point of purchase. You’ll craft compelling program plans rooted in consumer insights, translating brand objectives into activation strategies that drive awareness, conversion, and breakthrough performance. Working cross‑functionally, you will engage closely with brand marketing, customer marketing, area commerce teams, and agency partners to ensure holistic, insight‑driven planning that connects seamlessly from brand strategy to in‑market execution.

In this role, you will play a central part in shaping omnichannel marketing initiatives designed to make it easier for consumers to find, buy, and enjoy our brands. Through an agile approach, you’ll develop activation calendars and playbooks, build scalable programs, and respond quickly to competitive shifts and marketplace opportunities. Your work will require strong strategic thinking, influence across teams, a deep understanding of consumer journeys, and an ability to translate insights into effective, ROI‑driven programs.

You’ll also be responsible for developing sales materials, managing both internal and external agencies, assessing program performance, and cultivating strong relationships with cross‑functional partners. With a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and operational excellence, you will help drive impactful brand presence across on‑premise, retail, and digital commerce environments.

What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree plus 4 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, CPG shopper marketing or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, CPG shopper marketing or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel up to 40% of the time to perform job duties.
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You’ll Stand Out

  • Master of Business Administration degree plus 5 years of Gallo brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration plus 7 years of marketing or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with end consumer and retail trade consumer product marketing.
  • Skilled at writing insight‑based, inspiring briefs, managing projects, and serving as a subject matter expert on Agile marketing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations and partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
