Job description

The Maintenance Tech will help with the repairs and upkeep of a commercial mall facility.  This includes work both inside the mall and outside on the grounds. 
 
Pay: $25-27 an hour

Typical Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 7:00am  3:30pm.
 
Location: 100 Oak Brook Center, Oak Brook, IL
Responsibilties
  • Light Carpentry: Perform tasks such as repairing, installing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures.
  • Drywall Repair: Repair and patch drywall, ensuring a smooth and finished appearance.
  • Painting: Prepare surfaces and apply paint, stains, and finishes with precision and quality.
  • Paver Installation: Lay and level pavers for pathways, patios, and other outdoor surfaces.
  • Event Support: Assist with the setup, teardown, and maintenance of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Holiday Decor Installation: Install and maintain holiday decorations, including lights, ornaments, and other festive elements.
  • Aerial Boom Operation: Safely operate aerial boom equipment to access high or hard-to-reach areas for various tasks
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and paver installation.
  • Ability to operate aerial boom equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for event support and holiday decor installation
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in carpentry, painting, or aerial boom operation.
  • Previous experience in event support and holiday decor installation
$25 - $27 an hour
