East & West Ridge Animal Hospitals | Klamath Falls, Oregon
Leadership Opportunity | Small Animal & Exotics | Four-Day Work Week | No On-Call
East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals, two collaborative sister practices in Klamath Falls, Oregon, are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team as Co-Medical Director alongside Dr. Carolyn Whitaker.
This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians with 3+ years of clinical experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. About the Role
As Co-Medical Director, you'll partner with Dr. Whitaker to help lead two companion animal hospitals located just six miles apart. Your focus will include:

  • Identifying opportunities for hospital growth and innovation
  • Collaborating on medical standards and best practices

Qualifications
Required
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
  • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
  • Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Minimum of three years of clinical veterinary experience

Preferred
  • Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
  • Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
  • Strong mentorship, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven adaptability, initiative, and team-building abilities

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
