Residential Counselor – Transitional Living Program (TLP) – Part-Time (36 hours/week)

Stevens Treatment Programs empowers youth to lead successful lives through high quality treatment and education in a safe and nurturing environment. Located in Fall River, MA, the Transitional Living Program will provide 8 male adolescents and young adults with services and support needed for them to safely reintegrate into home and community life and thrive in their future.

Residential counselors provide a critical role in daily care and supervision for youth served. Residential counselors lead daily routines, facilitate activities, implement trauma-informed behavioral support, act as mentors and positive role models, and support youth in meeting their individualized behavioral, clinical, and rehabilitative goals.

We seek committed and passionate individuals who are looking for a rewarding professional experience providing care, supervision, and support to adolescent youth. We currently looking to fill:

Part-time (36-hours)

  • Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am-10:00pm

Pay Rate:

  • $20.00 to $21.50/hour, based on qualifications and experience

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid, current driver’s license for 3 or more years and acceptable driving record (REQUIRED)
  • This position requires reliable personal transportation and compliance with Stevens’ personal-vehicle requirements within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Employees must maintain a valid driver’s license, current registration, and automobile insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 or a $300,000 combined single limit. (REQUIRED)
  • Acceptable EEC Background Record Check
  • 1-year experience working with adolescents in a residential or group home setting is required
