Warehouse Associate/Data Entry Clerk

Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
No Weekends
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
Permanent Hire Rate: $21.50/hour upon successful conversion


We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate/Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Vernon, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable Warehouse Associate/Data Entry Clerk looking for a long-term career with growth potential. The ideal Warehouse Associate/Data Entry Clerk will be comfortable performing both physical warehouse duties and data entry responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This Warehouse Associate/Data Entry Clerk position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with increased pay and excellent benefits.


Job Responsibilities

  • Pull boxes and prepare materials for processing
  • Palletize products and assist with loading and unloading trucks
  • Move boxes using U-Boat carts from the warehouse floor into the office work area
  • Build new boxes and re-box files and documents as part of the indexing process
  • Index files and accurately enter information into company systems
  • Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Place tissue paper at the top of completed boxes
  • Insert cardstock on the sides of e-boxes
  • Apply four labels to the outside of completed boxes
  • Break down old boxes and dispose of materials properly
  • Maintain productivity goals of approximately 30 boxes per day
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Data entry experience required
  • Must successfully complete a 10-Key Test
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull boxes throughout the shift
  • Able to stand, bend, walk, and move continuously during the workday
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

This is a very physical position. Candidates must be able to:

  • Frequently lift and move boxes throughout the shift
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Push loaded U-Boat carts
  • Work efficiently while meeting daily production expectations
