Job Overview:

Job Summary:**
The Tooling Technician I at Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, Texas, is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various tools and equipment used in pipeline construction and other energy infrastructure projects. This entry-level position supports field operations by ensuring tools are in optimal working condition, contributing to safe and efficient project execution.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and basic repairs on a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and light machinery.
* Assist with the calibration and testing of specialized tools and equipment under supervision.
* Clean, organize, and maintain the tooling inventory and workshop area.
* Track tool usage, location, and maintenance records.
* Identify and report damaged or worn tools requiring repair or replacement.
* Load and unload tools and equipment for transport to and from job sites.
* Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to tool handling, maintenance, and workshop operations.
* Collaborate with field crews and other technicians to support their tooling needs.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Supervisor or Lead Technician.
Job Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Prior experience with mechanical work or general tool usage is preferred but not required.
* Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
* Ability to learn and apply new technical skills quickly.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
* Ability to work in various weather conditions and a physically demanding environment.
